MomsFirst is a City of Cleveland program that offers case management and home visiting services to pregnant moms until their baby reaches age two. Women who participate in the MomsFirst program will receive health education on topics such as prenatal care, breastfeeding, family planning, and interconceptional care. MomsFirst will assist with obtaining medical insurance and transportation to your prenatal and postpartum appointments. The goal of MomsFirst is to reduce the number of babies that die before they are a year old. MomsFirst wants to help you have a healthy pregnancy.
The program is added information and resources for fathers in 2015. Expectant and new fathers in the City of Cleveland are encouraged to reach out to the MomsFirst Fatherhood Coordinator to help make sure their baby gets a healthy start!
