Mission: The mission of Key Source, Legal Document Service Corp. is to provide alternative, equal and affordable access to the courts for Pro Se and Indigent litigants in their uncontested, preliminary legal matters.
Goal: The goal of Key Source, LDS Corporation, is to educate and support the self-represented by empowering them with the competence and confidence it takes to navigate the court system.
Value: We have a passion to empower our clients to take the initial steps toward strengthening and self-managing their legal lives by reducing the apprehension of `going it alone' in court by providing personalized Legal Coaching as well as legal education workshops.
Services and Fee Schedule
Initial Intake - Gathering information required. Attorney Supervised. 1-2 hours
Child Support/Arrearages - Complete motions, Affidavits, filing instructions, Legal Coaching along the way.
Child Support Modifications (Decrease/Increase) - Complete motions, Affidavits, filing instructions, Legal Coaching Along the way. Verification with C.S.E.A. regarding clarity and validity of requested modification.
Assistance w/ Drivers License Suspensions - Verification with C.S.E.A. regarding best approach for drivers license re-instatement.
Agreed Motion to Correct Arrearages - Retroactive modification of child support arrearages.
Incarcerated/Ex-Offender Assistance - Assist currently incarcerated individuals prior to release with child support issues to help avoid employment, education and housing barriers upon reentry.
Legal Coaching - Perform all intakes, Confirm that you have a good claim or defense. Find the law that applies to your case. File and serve legal documents. Answer questions along the way. Be on all during trial or hearing. Take over if things get out of control.
Referral Services - Refer clients to a host qualified services providers should requests fall outside the service offering of Key Source, LDS Corporation.
New Developments - Free online monthly newsletter delivering current legal strategies & tips for the self-represented right to your email inbox. Community Legal Education workshops delivering lawsuit strategies & tips to empower the self-represented. Workshop hosting is encouraged and open to local social service organizations. Corrections Facilities in-house information sessions delivered to inmates to help in the development and presentation of their child support & custody matters prior to reentry.
Cost for services: Low Cost. Sliding Scale based on income.
