Childrens Rights Council home
Mission:
Children's Rights Council works to ensure that at-risk children have frequent and continuing contact with both of their parents and the extended family that they would normally have during their parent's marriage. We believe that all children have a right to a healthy, happy, well-adjusted life that can only be provided by the active involvement of both parents. It is by these rights that we derive out motivation and our motto “The Best Parent is Both Parents.”
Service Description:
The Cleveland offices of The Children's Rights Council provides clients advocacy for mothers and fathers facing issues with child support, CSEA, or juvenile and domestic court issues involving visitation and custody. We also advocate on behalf of our clients in favor of judicial and legislative changes that would improve community services through these agencies.
We help our clients obtain child support resolutions, downward modifications, regain their driver license or CDL, prepare for court appearances, file in court Pro Se, and offer low cost legal counseling for custody cases.
We also offer periodic classes for men seeking to understand and maneuver the legal and administrative system successfully on their own. We attempt to provide information which will make it easier for non-custodial parents to remain in compliance with their court orders and defend their rights as a parent.
Fee for initial consultation is $25.00
