Through these stories we are provided a key to unlock our immense potential.</div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> Alchemy is the ancient art of transforming base metal into gold; it is an act of taking a lower substance and transforming it into a higher substance. It is symbolically seen as the transformation of the personality. It is an inner change of an individual which leads to peace, wholeness and the integration of the entire personality. At Alchemy, Inc. our goal is to extract the gold that is already inherent in our youth and adults.</div> <bR> <div> Our programs include the facilitation of male adolescent support groups, groups for fathers, and groups for men incarcerated. We conduct training for target audiences such as educators, social workers, counselors, administrators, parents and youth. In all of the above the presenter utilizes storytelling, mythology, developmental and Jungian depth psychology, counseling techniques, and concepts of rites of passage. </div> <div>    </div> <div> We have developed an intense yet comforting curriculum specifically designed to address issues facing urban adolescent youth and adults. Via these stories participants uncover common themes and basic patterns of development and transformation. Major emphasis is placed upon long-term gratification and the rewards of persistence as they relate directly to academics, social behavior, and self-sufficiency. Through dissecting the characters and their universal dilemmas within the stories, learners are provided with a plethora of interpretations designed to assist them in understanding their present situation and how to transform this situation. The stories are designed to increase the use to their imagination, creativity, and critical thinking skills. We take situations within the stories and determine how obstacles were overcome; we then relate these obstacles and situations to our lives. Emphasis is placed upon the importance of humility and the need for assistance from guides and mentors. We offer an environment where youth and adults are allowed to heal their psychological wounds while being provided with the cognitive and emotional tools necessary to become self-sufficient.</div> <bR> <div> Contact Information:</div> <bR> <div> G.
